Phonics

At All Saints, we follow a phonics and reading scheme called Read Write Inc (RWI). Our Reading Leader is Mrs Fox and she is supported by a team of phonics teachers and TAs to deliver the RWI scheme.

The Phonics Screening Check

Pupils in Year 1 undertake the Phonics Screening Check in the Summer term. Any Year 2 pupils who did not pass the check, will also have another opportunity to take the check.
